Distribution Agreement 

This is a long-term agreement between J2 and a partner which outlines the details of a business agreement. 

Data collected includes:

  • Legal name

  • Address

  • Name and email address of individual with signing authority

  • Expected sales to the company by year two

  • Server and Embedded Multipliers

  • Additional addendums which need to be attached (e.g Digital Services Addendum and/or Developer Addendum)

Unique Partner Business Terms

Below are a list of a various unique partner business terms that may be included in a distribution agreement. 

Pricelist Multipliers

Unique pricelist multipliers are assigned to a partner and are included in the Distribution Agreement. These multipliers are then applied to various products in J2's price lists. There are currently two main types of multipliers: 

  • Server Multiplier (unique multiplier that is applied to server based software licenses & product) 
  • Embedded Multiplier (unique multiplier that is applied to embedded based software licenses & hardware) 

Special Part Numbers

Based on contractual agreements, OEM partners may have special unique partners related their  product or business needs. 

Special Terms

Each partnership agreement is unique in its own way. Some agreements may contain special terms of business that must be met or are set to be met. (Example: Unique Partner Multiplier (X.X) is not applied until a sales balance of $100,000 is met.)

FIN Software Branding

Software branding is an option available for OEM partners that wish to rebrand the FIN Framework software using their own branding color schemes and logos. Typically included in the KIT-DIS2 and KIT-DIS3 for qualifying OEM partners.  More information here.
